For years now, I've had this idea of creating a series of shorts under the umbrella title of Smogsploitation, as in Smoggie centric, very Boro. These would consist of retellings of classic stories but from a Middlesbrough perspective.
Recently, I finally scripted an idea that's been on the back burner for years; Romeo & Juliet. What I've written is, I think, a very different and unique take on the classic play. Bill would be proud.
